CADPRO Systems exhibited at the uLearn17 Conference.
uLearn17 is a highly relevant, inclusive, and practical conference that caters for educators from early years, primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors. Last week, around 1500 teachers swarmed through the exhibition halls looking at all of the goodies on offer.
We talked to a lot of teachers using Tinkercad and Autodesk Fusion 360 as well as those wanting to get involved.
Tinkercad is popular as an entry level tool into the new Digital Curriculum as it runs on Chromebooks favoured by many schools.
Where possible, we encouraged the use of Fusion 360 in place of Tinkercad as the students can grow with it in their time at school.
CADPRO Systems are running a specific class for teachers to take them on a journey to make a fidget spinner – design, CNC out the shape and 3d print the caps.
We are partnering with Vertigo Technologies to supply CNC Routers and 3D Printers suitable for schools. The skills learned in making the fidget spinner are readily transferred to making parts in manufacturing companies. The training course details as below:
Date: 24th- 25th January 2018, Auckland.
